Day 1 – Arrival in Paro
- Arrive at Paro International Airport
- Transfer to hotel; acclimatization (2,200m)
- Activities:
- Visit Rinpung Dzong
- Ta Dzong (National Museum)
- Stroll through Paro town
- Overnight in Paro
Day 2 – The Taktsang Experience
- Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), 3,120m
- 4–5 hours round trip through pine forests
- Cafeteria midway for panoramic views
- Spiritual exploration and scenic views
- Overnight in Paro
Day 3 – Paro to Jili Dzong
- Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
- Camp Altitude: 3,480 m
- Gradual climb through farmhouses & blue pine forests
- Views of Mt. Jomolhari on clear days
- Camp near Jili Dzong (historic fortress)
- Sunset views over Paro & Thimphu valleys
Day 4 – Trek to Jay-dikha Village
- Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
- Camp Altitude: ~2,700 m
- Pass through alpine forests and yak herder settlements
- Gentle ridges with occasional short ascents/descents
- Arrive at Jay-dikha Village; camp in open meadows
Day 5 – Trek to Thimphu via Pumola Pass
- Highest Point: Pumola Pass (3,450 m)
- Trek Duration: ~5 hours
- Gradual ascent → panoramic Himalayan views → descend to Thimphu
- Transfer to hotel in Thimphu
- Overnight in Thimphu
Day 6 – Thimphu Valley Exploration
- Full-day exploration:
- Buddha Dordenma statue
- Memorial Chorten
- Takin Preserve
- Simply Bhutan Museum
- Tashichho Dzong (exterior visit)
- Overnight in Thimphu
Day 7 – Thimphu to Punakha
- Drive via Dochula Pass (3,100 m) → scenic Himalaya views
- Visit Punakha Valley:

- Suspension Bridge
- Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
- Overnight in Punakha
Day 8 – Punakha to Paro
- Drive back to Paro
